Payments to the Register of Wills can be made by credit card through the State’s self funded eGovernment services provider, NIC Maryland. NIC Maryland accepts American Express, Discover Card , VISA, and Mastercard only. Your bank statement will list your Register of Wills payment labeled MARYLANDGOVPAY. A technology fee of 3% will also be charged to your credit card labeled MD.GOV TECHNOLOGY FEE. The State does not receive this technology fee. You will be informed of the exact amount of the technology fee before you complete your transaction.
