Payments to the Register of Wills can be made by credit card through the State’s self funded eGovernment services provider, NIC Maryland. NIC Maryland accepts American Express, Discover Card , VISA, and Mastercard only. Your bank statement will list your Register of Wills payment labeled MARYLANDGOVPAY. A service fee of 3% will also be charged to your credit card labeled MD.GOV SERVICE FEE. The State does not receive this service fee. You will be informed of the exact amount of the service fee before you complete your transaction.
