has proudly served the citizens of Talbot County since her election as Register of Wills in September, 1986. Prior thereto, she served as Deputy and Chief Deputy Register of Wills for twenty 20 years, working with The Honorable Harry N. Wilson and The Honorable C. Kenneth Dulin. |
An Eastern Shore native, Alice graduated from Chestertown High School and earned her business degree at Goldey Beacom College. She dedicated many hours to help design and implement emerging technology to index and store probate documents electronically statewide, making Maryland one of the first states in the nation to implement automated probate court management systems.
Talbot County's estate records have been microfilmed since 1665 and most have been digitalized under the stewardship of Alice. Some estate record docket entries are currently available for public review in her office at a research center as well as online.
